A Collar

I wore the Fort last week until Saturday night then had it back on again on Sunday. That's my normal schedule in a chastity device so I can probably keep it up indefinitely.

I bought myself a collar. I'm just wearing it as a bit of private jewelry for now. It doesn't mean anything since I put it on myself. I just like wearing pieces of steel that are difficult to get off.

I got the collar from Eternity Collars. It's very nice. I went for their Phantom line which is a dark gray. I liked this better than the standard shiny steel.

It is very well made. The hinge is hard to see, even if you are looking for it. The closure is a tongue and groove with a recessed hex bolt. The end of the bolt is visible since it has not been treated. I colored it with a Sharpie. I will see how long that holds up.

The collar is a couple of inches bigger than my neck. It might have been more comfortable if it was an inch smaller but I wanted to be able to hide it under my shirt and this size works well for that. I've been wearing it since Sunday and I don't think anyone noticed it. Even under a dress shirt it is hard to spot.

It isn't exactly comfortable but it isn't painful.

Since I started wearing the collar I've been forgetting about the Fort. Funny how adding a new piece of steel to your body makes you forget the old one.

I ordered some cuffs but I am getting them from a different company. I want oval cuffs and Eternity Collars only makes them round. I also want a ring that can be used to lock them together. I went with Ring of Steel for these. From their web site their products don't hide the hinges as well but they have oval cuffs. They also offer security hex bolts which require a special wrench. I like the idea of that.

I ordered the cuff last night and they have already been shipped. I'll say more when I get them.

Progress

I realized after I locked it on that I had used the largest and middle rings instead of largest and second largest. I wore this for four days, took a day's break then locked it on again with the largest and second largest (for sure this time). I felt a raw spot and took it off after a day to heal. I put it back on for three days then off for Saturday night through showering on Sunday.

I've been wearing it since Sunday - two days - with no apparent problems. I think that the raw spot was a combination of a fold in the skin and the hinge on the ring. With the larger ring there is no fold in the skin. The hinge gets a little sore now and then but it seems to recover as soon as I adjust it.

To repeat a few things that I have said before - erections are much more comfortable in the Fort than in the CBxxxx series. I think it is because it holds me in place better plus the length of everything including the two rings is nearly as long as an erection.

No way out except for cutting the padlock. This is the weakest point. Any other part would be difficult to cut. I may experiment with alternative locks when it is warmer and I can use my shop.

Different configurations

I kept the Fort on for a couple of days then took a break to prevent chaffing. I'm back in. This time I locked two rings on. The second largest is closest to my body with the largest against the tube. I used two washer/spacers and locked it on.

It feels fine. The extra space from the largest ring make up for the short spacer. There is no way to get it off without the key. The space is way too small to slip my testicles through. The rings are too tight to pull out and I'd never get back in if I tried.

That's a serious piece of hardware locked to my genitals. Except for the weight, it is very comfortable. I can feel the weight pulling on my balls when I'm naked. It isn't uncomfortable but In know it's there.

The hing on the rings may be a problem. That's what was irritating me the most before. I hope that my skin toughens up. Otherwise I will use some type of tape on it.

Cleaning inside the tube is a problem, just as it is for the CB series. That's why I was hoping to be able to use the cage.

UPDATE: The weight doesn't hurt but it makes it uncomfortable to walk. It pulls my balls down in-between my legs. Tight underwear helps a lot.

The inside of the tube is not as slick as the plastic tubes. This is a big improvement. I used a stocking to get the tube on. After that, I stayed in place. In the plastic tubes my penis moves around. During morning erections I always seem to get caught part-way down the tube but not at the end. Others have said that they have the same problem. With the Fort, the tip of my penis stays at the end of the tube. Morning erections are more comfortable and I don't have accidents when peeing. I'm always line up with the end of the tube.

A Day in the Fort

I've been wearing my Fort for the last 30 hours. So far it is pretty good. The hinge on the ring rubs a bit but it has not caused any raw spots.

I got around the problem with the guide posts poking me. I added the largest ring. It isn't locked on. I just put it on behind everything else and fit the guideposts into the matching holes. It adds some weight but otherwise is fine. It looks really serious with both rings on and the weight of the CB pulling my penis down. The weight is not a problem. I can feel it hanging but it feels lighter than it actually is.

The vent holes aren't a big problem but I have gotten pinched a few times when the padlock caught some skin bulging through the holes.

Trying Something New

I gave up on the cage and got a new device - the Fort from Extreme Restraints. This is basically a steel version of the CB-3000.

First impression:

I couldn't believe how heavy the package was. Fortunately most of the weight comes from the extra rings. Like the CB-3000, the Fort comes with four hinged rings. These are heavier than the tube itself. Still, the device is heavier than one of the plastic devices.

The construction is pretty close to the CB-3000. The tube itself has the same shape right down to the air holes. It is more oval than I remember. The outside is shiny. The inside is smooth but not polished. It is not as slippery as the CB series so it is harder to get into. This will also make pull-out harder.

The rings seem a little snugger against the top of my penis but I used the rings from my CB2000 with my CB3000 so I could be mistaken about the fit.

I used the middle ring. It seems comfortable and the spacers will not allow my testicles to slip through.

It only comes with one locking post, a tube spacer, and two thick washers that also work as spacers. Right now I'm wearing it with the tube as a spacer and the washers between the tube and the lock which makes it a bit tighter.

After nearly six hours, it is still comfortable. No pinching or rubbing. At least not yet.

It is very secure. There is no give so I can't slip loose by bending the tube up. It is also very solid. The padlock is the weakest point. If I needed out and I had a bolt cutter that is what I would attack.

It is strange to drop my pants and only see a steel tube. The whole thing gives a different impression than the CB-3000. It seems much more intimidating and permanent.

Flaws - like the CB-3000, it has two posts that come from the tube through the ring. These are longer than the locking post so they stick through. They are irritating. These were easy enough to remove from the CB-3000 but it will take a hack saw and a file to trim them on the Fort.

The air holes in the CB-3000 were painful and I had to cover them with tape from the inside. I will see if these are a problem.

Sanitation may be a problem. That's one thing I really liked about the cage I was trying. It was so open that it was easy to clean through it. This tube fits so tightly that I may have trouble keeping clean.

Still adjusting

I tried rushing the adjusting process and ended up with a raw ring around my balls. I gave it a few weeks to heal and tried again. The first couple of tries were just before bed and I had to take it off after an hour or so. I tried again yesterday and managed to wear it for several hours but still had to take it off.

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm reacting to the metal itself.

Locked up again.

I gave myself around a day and a half to heal and put the cage on again. At first it hurt. The ring burned. I had to apply some Aloe gel a couple of times. I wondered how I had been able to wear it so long before. Then after a couple of hours, everything loosened up and it feels fine now.
