Different configurations

I kept the Fort on for a couple of days then took a break to prevent chaffing. I'm back in. This time I locked two rings on. The second largest is closest to my body with the largest against the tube. I used two washer/spacers and locked it on.

It feels fine. The extra space from the largest ring make up for the short spacer. There is no way to get it off without the key. The space is way too small to slip my testicles through. The rings are too tight to pull out and I'd never get back in if I tried.

That's a serious piece of hardware locked to my genitals. Except for the weight, it is very comfortable. I can feel the weight pulling on my balls when I'm naked. It isn't uncomfortable but In know it's there.

The hing on the rings may be a problem. That's what was irritating me the most before. I hope that my skin toughens up. Otherwise I will use some type of tape on it.

Cleaning inside the tube is a problem, just as it is for the CB series. That's why I was hoping to be able to use the cage.

UPDATE: The weight doesn't hurt but it makes it uncomfortable to walk. It pulls my balls down in-between my legs. Tight underwear helps a lot.

The inside of the tube is not as slick as the plastic tubes. This is a big improvement. I used a stocking to get the tube on. After that, I stayed in place. In the plastic tubes my penis moves around. During morning erections I always seem to get caught part-way down the tube but not at the end. Others have said that they have the same problem. With the Fort, the tip of my penis stays at the end of the tube. Morning erections are more comfortable and I don't have accidents when peeing. I'm always line up with the end of the tube.

A Day in the Fort

I've been wearing my Fort for the last 30 hours. So far it is pretty good. The hinge on the ring rubs a bit but it has not caused any raw spots.

I got around the problem with the guide posts poking me. I added the largest ring. It isn't locked on. I just put it on behind everything else and fit the guideposts into the matching holes. It adds some weight but otherwise is fine. It looks really serious with both rings on and the weight of the CB pulling my penis down. The weight is not a problem. I can feel it hanging but it feels lighter than it actually is.

The vent holes aren't a big problem but I have gotten pinched a few times when the padlock caught some skin bulging through the holes.

Trying Something New

I gave up on the cage and got a new device - the Fort from Extreme Restraints. This is basically a steel version of the CB-3000.

First impression:

I couldn't believe how heavy the package was. Fortunately most of the weight comes from the extra rings. Like the CB-3000, the Fort comes with four hinged rings. These are heavier than the tube itself. Still, the device is heavier than one of the plastic devices.

The construction is pretty close to the CB-3000. The tube itself has the same shape right down to the air holes. It is more oval than I remember. The outside is shiny. The inside is smooth but not polished. It is not as slippery as the CB series so it is harder to get into. This will also make pull-out harder.

The rings seem a little snugger against the top of my penis but I used the rings from my CB2000 with my CB3000 so I could be mistaken about the fit.

I used the middle ring. It seems comfortable and the spacers will not allow my testicles to slip through.

It only comes with one locking post, a tube spacer, and two thick washers that also work as spacers. Right now I'm wearing it with the tube as a spacer and the washers between the tube and the lock which makes it a bit tighter.

After nearly six hours, it is still comfortable. No pinching or rubbing. At least not yet.

It is very secure. There is no give so I can't slip loose by bending the tube up. It is also very solid. The padlock is the weakest point. If I needed out and I had a bolt cutter that is what I would attack.

It is strange to drop my pants and only see a steel tube. The whole thing gives a different impression than the CB-3000. It seems much more intimidating and permanent.

Flaws - like the CB-3000, it has two posts that come from the tube through the ring. These are longer than the locking post so they stick through. They are irritating. These were easy enough to remove from the CB-3000 but it will take a hack saw and a file to trim them on the Fort.

The air holes in the CB-3000 were painful and I had to cover them with tape from the inside. I will see if these are a problem.

Sanitation may be a problem. That's one thing I really liked about the cage I was trying. It was so open that it was easy to clean through it. This tube fits so tightly that I may have trouble keeping clean.

Still adjusting

I tried rushing the adjusting process and ended up with a raw ring around my balls. I gave it a few weeks to heal and tried again. The first couple of tries were just before bed and I had to take it off after an hour or so. I tried again yesterday and managed to wear it for several hours but still had to take it off.

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm reacting to the metal itself.
